“Oh my god, me and Lewis have watched our wedding video and we are completely in love with it. Reminded us what a perfect day it was. You are so incredibly talented in what you do and we really cannot thank you enough! It was perfect from start to finish! Thank you soooo much” ❤️❤️
Sophie & Lewis enjoyed a beautiful Autumn wedding at Irton Hall and we were lucky enough to be invited to film their BIG DAY! This was a new venue for us to film which was packed with its own country charm, wildlife (too many exotic birds to mention) and an amazing team who helped their day run smoothly. Congratulations to you both and thank you for having us X
“Thank you so much. It is amazing. We absolutely love it. You have captured our day perfectly. We can’t thank you both enough” xxxx
A beautiful September wedding in The Lake District. From the moment we arrived at their family home in Ingleton, The Hortons made us feel very welcome. The girls were all in a great mood (absolutely the number 1 sign it’s going to be a GOOD UN) the sun was shining, Soph was calm as the calmest of Cucumbers
Sophie & Andrew, were an absolute delight to spend the day with, super chilled, up for anything and of course, a very cute couple. Myself and Lisa would like to thank you both for inviting us along to be a part of your celebrations, all the very best X Cumbria Wedding Video
a beautiful day in the sun with lots of dancing peeps 🙂
Alex & Beth invited us to film their BIG DAY at The Grange Hotel in Cumbria and what a fun and mad wedding it turned out to be thanks to Paul Guard revving up their willing guests throughout the whole day. There were so many golden moments for us to film (and daft ones, Paul getting upstaged by a car and a guest turning his room window into a bar) A packed dance floor always means there has been an amazing wedding and this one proved that, what a great day for Mr & Mrs P.
Thank you for having us and CONGRATULATIONS, R&L X
We both really liked the barn setting! Was just a beautiful area what with the drapes and twinkling lights. And I liked how we broke out to the main house for the drinks reception. Also we had people traveling over from Yorkshire so having the rooms were a major plus.
How did Craig propose?
Craig proposed in June 2017 we were staying in Keswick lodge retreat for my birthday. The day before my birthday we went on a lovely walk with maya our dog. And over the amazing views of Bassenthwhaite lake he popped the question. Was a perfect spot and the weather was beautiful.
Do you have a favourite memory from the whole day?
Honestly the whole day was just amazing and truly was the best day. If I had to choose a favourite part was when we walked back down the isle as a married couple! Was the first time I really saw everyone and was just a special moment. Craigs favourite was coming back in to the wedding breakfast as mr and Mrs latham. Shout out to Alex who did all our music, as he suggested playing 99 problems by jay z when we came in! And we loved it having a little dance coming in. Craig now has that as his ring tone when I phone him haha!!
We chose you as We loved your films!!! The edit of them is like a movie. We knew you would capture the moments we wouldn’t have seen, giving us a different view of our day. And when we met you, you were so friendly and put us both at ease. Would definitely recommend you!!!!
Any advice for a couple planning their wedding?
I would say it’s in the planning and organising. I had lists coming out of my ears! But helped to keep me calm and not stressed. But other then that enjoy it and when it comes To closer to the day don’t be stressing about the little details! Go with the flow.
We always get excited to film at a new venue, Jade & Tony invited us to join their friends, family and Gus for an amazing day in the sun.
“Oh my goodness!!!! Wow wow wow. YOU ARE THE BEST. We have just watched our full wedding video. It’s the best gift we have ever received. We absolutely love it. You guys are going to be recommended to everyone I know and to all of my mums brides who come through her shop. Thank you so much. You captured everything perfectly. LOVE IT”

What made you choose Brougham Hall for your wedding?
Growing up I was adamant that I’d marry in castle ruins. I’ve always loved the way they look and the story they tell. The romance, the mystery. An alternative way to be the classical princess. We live locally to brougham Hall but it wasn’t until we learned that Tony’s grandparents married there 75 yers ago in the neighbouring chapel that we realised this was our perfect venue.
Hard question but do you have one favorite moment for your wedding? (you can have more than one if you like)
During the ceremony when it was time to exchange rings and I turned to the commotion and the sound of tiny little dog foot steps walking down the aisle. Tony had planned to surprised me with our dog Gus dressed in a three-piece suit as our ring bearer.
If you could give 1 piece of advice to anyone planning their wedding, what would it be?
Book RTP Films as your videographer!!! You won’t regret it. Genuinely the easiest part of our planning process.
What made you choose RTP Films to record your wedding?
We researched different videographers from all over the country; we knew exactly what we wanted and what we didn’t want. We spent afternoons watching clips of RTP Film productions and found ourselves filled with emotion from couples weddings we didn’t even know. We knew that RTP would be able to capture the cinematic movie that we wanted.
“They made it so easy on the day too. Couldn’t recommend enough”
Snow was predicted, Sun took it’s place for this beautiful wedding in The Lake District
1) Why did you choose The Belsfield for your wedding?
We have always loved visiting the Lake District and my grandparents had a boathouse in Bowness for many years so we loved the homely feeling that the lakes had for us. The Belsfield stood out immediately on our tour of the many venues that we had seen online. In fact, I think it was my Dad initially who had stumbled across the Belsfield when we started looking at venues. By coincidence Paul’s parents had stayed there many years ago too, well before the Laura Ashley refurb!
2) What made you want a videographer for your wedding?
We had been told by many of our married friends how fast the day goes so knew it was important for us to capture the day from beginning to end. We loved recently watching my parents wedding video and knew that was something we would want to be able to do in years to come.
3) What were your favourite parts of the BIG DAY?
Claire- I find it hard to choose … at the start of the day it would have to be the dress reveal to my Dad but I also loved spending the morning with my 3 best friends, mum and Paul’s mum getting ready, then I’d say mine and Paul’s entrance to the wedding breakfast to ‘You’ve got the love’ and all the cheering and probably the moment Ellie Sax came on – we all had so much fun dancing the night away!
Paul- hearing the string quartet begin Des’ree Kissing You & seeing Claire walk down the aisle, unexpectedly, actually enjoying delivering my speech & the moment after the first dance, when the confetti cannons went off & Ellie Sax setting the tone for the night!
(We could go on & on … readings during the ceremony, speeches, string quartet, mind reader, casino – we loved it all!)
4) How did Paul propose? (Gushy details are allowed)
Paul first planned to propose when we were on holiday in Thailand, only I fell poorly so he had to re think his plan for when we were home! We had a birthday weekend in Chester planned a month or so later. I love a good picnic & the sun was shining so we went to a beautiful park for the afternoon. Little did I know, why Paul insisted on carrying the picnic bag over his shoulder covering his back pocket which had the ring in! During the picnic Paul climbed onto one knee & asked if I would marry him… he said some lovely words too but I was so in shock so I don’t think I registered what he had said… (apparently I grabbed the ring out of his hand and said is this real) … of course I said yes and couldn’t wait to phone our friends and family who were delighted. I still remember now how genuinely happy everyone was for us, it was a lovely lovely feeling!!
Congratulations Claire & Paul, thanks for having us x Ro & lisa
