Nic & Jo: Weddings at Eaves Hall

A beautiful sunny day at one of our favourite wedding venues

Our final wedding of summer was full of light and colour after a very grey August. Nic & Jo celebrated their BIG DAY at Eaves Hall with all their friends and family and what a great way to see off the summer season. Shooting alongside Lottie Designs we had so much fun with the guys at DFC who hosted the day.

Some of our personal highlights included the 6 (yes count them) 6 ushers who made a joint speech and gave Jo a royal roasting, the acoustic session from Danny and enjoying the sun in the beautiful gardens at Eaves.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Webber, thank you for inviting us X

Weddings at Wyresdale Park: Vicky & Mason

WHAT A WEDDING!!!

Some weddings you can just have a little too much fun at and this was definitely one of them. Vicky & Mason tied the knot on a (rare) sunny day in August. Both the Bride & Groom were ready for an amazing day as soon as we started filming.

Mr & Mrs C put a quality WEDDING TEAM together at Wyresdale Park including Foxley Photography, Mr Paul Guard, Bluebells & Daisies, Karen Rhodes Events, Bon Vivant, Sugar Wishes Cakes any many others who were all on top form, Vicky was kind enough to message us the following day once she received her Instagram Sneak Peek (below)

” Roland and Lisa, we just wanted to take the time out of currently living on cloud nine to say thank you so much for taking the time to capture our day on Saturday. We truly truly had the most unreal day ever which exceeded all expectations. We have both said since that a huge part of that was down to the amazing team we had working around us. We honestly cannot thank you enough for making our day so relaxed, making us feel so at ease, have so much fun and party so hard!!! We honestly and truthfully have loved meeting you both and would recommend you a million times over. That sneak peak that we received SO SOON has captured the utter blast we had in 30 seconds which is amazing and we cannot wait to see the final thing in months to come. Lisa, thank you for looking after me on the day, you were an utter angel and that Holly Willoughby comment,   What an absolute team, what an absolute day and what an absolute set of wonderful memories. Thank you SO much!! When are you free to do it all over again? Lots of love Vicky and Mason” xxxxx

If you’re gonna do it all over again, give us a call, we’ll be there in a flash!
What a wonderful wedding to film, what a great couple to work with, thank you for inviting us to your MAD DAY X

Weddings at Eaves Hall: Rebecca & Ashley

A glorious day in the sun with Mr & Mrs Walker

Becks & Ash celebrated their BIG DAY with friends, family and their dog at Eaves Hall. We started off at the Bridal Preparations with David Scholes Photography and Jason from Flower Design before heading up to St Peters Church at Stonyhurst College to film The Groom & Guest arrivals, Ash was so nervous before the ceremony.

Following the ceremony we headed up to Cromwell Bridge for a few shots before joining everyone and continue the celebrations. Eaves Hall looked stunning and is definitely one of our favourite venues with amazing gardens which make a great backdrop for your wedding film. Thanks to Mr & Mrs Walker for inviting us to your Best Day, we had a blast and it was great to see one of our couples from last year.

Laura & Craig: Weddings at Bartle Hall in Lancashire

The War of the Roses Continues…

“We both can’t stop watching it we love it”

Why did you choose Bartle Hall for your wedding?

We both really liked the barn setting! Was just a beautiful area what with the drapes and twinkling lights. And I liked how we broke out to the main house for the drinks reception. Also we had people traveling over from Yorkshire so having the rooms were a major plus.

How did Craig propose?

Craig proposed in June 2017 we were staying in Keswick lodge retreat for my birthday. The day before my birthday we went on a lovely walk with maya our dog. And over the amazing views of Bassenthwhaite lake he popped the question. Was a perfect spot and the weather was beautiful.

Do you have a favourite memory from the whole day?

Honestly the whole day was just amazing and truly was the best day. If I had to choose a favourite part was when we walked back down the isle as a married couple! Was the first time I really saw everyone and was just a special moment. Craigs favourite was coming back in to the wedding breakfast as mr and Mrs latham. Shout out to Alex who did all our music, as he suggested playing 99 problems by jay z when we came in! And we loved it having a little dance coming in. Craig now has that as his ring tone when I phone him haha!!

Why did you pick RTP to film your BIG DAY?

We chose you as We loved your films!!! The edit of them is like a movie. We knew you would capture the moments we wouldn’t have seen, giving us a different view of our day. And when we met you, you were so friendly and put us both at ease. Would definitely recommend you!!!!

Any advice for a couple planning their wedding?

I would say it’s in the planning and organising. I had lists coming out of my ears! But helped to keep me calm and not stressed. But other then that enjoy it and when it comes To closer to the day don’t be stressing about the little details! Go with the flow.

Jenna & Chris: Weddings at The Shireburn Arms

Our final wedding of 2018, Jenna & Chris celebrated their big day at The Shireburne Arms in Lancashire.

“Oh Roland & Lisa, this is absolutely amazing.
Thank you so much, we just love it”

What made you pick The Shireburn Arms?

Chris wanted the big fancy wedding, I wanted a smaller more relaxed wedding. Theirs seem to blend our two visions nicely, being a country pub to look at with an amazing function room and views, but also places for family to stay on site. We went in January and totally fell in love with it.

Why RTP Films?

Why you- We looked at a few videographers. You came recommended. I stalked your website for a while. I struggle being filmed and photographed so wanted someone who wouldn’t pull us away from our wedding but blend into the background and capture our day. There are bits we don’t remember (we got a bit giddy with the wine) and from your website clips it seemed you did just that. It also helped that we had a relaxed chat on the phone before booking, I spoke to another two guys who put me right off but you were very friendly and engaging.

If you had to pick a favourite moment, what would it be?

My favourite moment ,Arriving at the church, being welcomed by Rev Brian and having my whole family walk me in, I love that you captured the “hello” to Chris at the alter, it sums us up very well.

What advice would you give anyone planning their wedding?

Don’t get lost in the detail, it doesn’t matter. What matters is the people you need to be there are there, you have fun planning and on the day of your wedding. Don’t spend more than you think you should on anything. And, plan something to do after your wedding, as you will find you have nothing to do now the day is gone.
