Ashleigh & Stuart: Wedding Film Teaser

Lancashire Wedding Videography

I had 2 jobs at the bridal preperations, one was to film all the fun with Ashleigh and her bridesmaids, the second was ‘Professional Wasp Exterminator’!

So with my camera in one hand, a copy of Lancashire Life in the other, i got to work…

So what did Josh get up to on the stag doo?

Ashleigh (Little Miss Sunshine) loved every minute of her wedding ceremony, Stuart started to crack just as he turned to see his Bride walk up the aisle and Ashleigh just cracked up when she witnessed her Grooms reaction, this really made a great moment for all the guests 🙂

First time filming at Stirk House for me, lovely venue to shoot at and i really enjoyed working with Adam Riley Photography, great guy and had time to ‘Geek Chat’ about cameras and weddings 🙂

Mr & Mrs Hames made my job very easy due to their enthusiasm, you could just tell how much this day meant for both of them!

A pleasure to be involved in 🙂

Thanks for watching , RTP x

Dionne & Andy: Wedding video teaser.

Lancashire Wedding Videography

Flippin Eck this was a hot one!

Dionne turned up beaming on the morning of her wedding and you would have no idea that she had spilled orange on her dress or that the car had broken down 300 yards from the church.
There was a lot of humour involved with this wedding and i had to try really hard to hold back when editing this trailer…

The day could not have gone better for them both and it was my first time shooting at The Broadfield Park Hotel who’s air con turned out to be a major blessing for all the guests.

As you can see in the trailer, the Bride & Groom put together a set of questions to ask guests and one of my particular favorites can be found here.

Great couple, very very hot day 🙂

Leyland Live 2013

The Creative Network returned to Leyland for 1 scorching weekend of live entertainment!

Nigel (never out of the papers) Stewart put together a great line up in the pubs, clubs, restaurants and on the streets of Leyland….

I had the very easy duty of documenting a few of the highlights over the 2 days, The Street Monkeys (hope they have good insurance) could be seen jumping off walls at Peek-a-Brew, Ryan & Tom really got the crowds going in The Railway & The Gables on Saturday Night, James Christy entertained the crowds outside Peppermint Cottage and that was just a very small percentage of what happened that weekend.

Chorley Live is coming in October and Nigel tells me there will be a lot more after that!

Thanks for reading 🙂 RTP

July Blog!

Lancashire Promotional Video

This one was a lot of fun to film…

Me & Karen from South Ribble spent a morning around Leyland filming some of the local business owners talking about their town. For a totally unscripted shoot, they pulled out some really good performances, although as you can see here, it was not 100% perfect. We had a rough preview a couple of weeks later, which was basically me holding an iPad in front of 20ish people which slightly made me nervous but it gained some great reactions from all involved, i’ll settle for that!
Thanks to Peppermint Cottage, Haines Watts, Poppys Flowers, Paces & Laces, Leyland Market, Solicitors Direct.

Lancashire Event Video

A long and verrrry busy day for me on this one…
Leyland Festival 2013 really raised the bar after a few hiccups over previous years, the sun showed its face just at the right time as thousands of people swarmed to Worden Park for a fun, family day out.
I won’t write too much about the day as you have probably just watched the film above but after reading lots of comments on their facebook page, it would appear that this years festival has kickstarted a bit of love for annual event.
Thanks to APC Overnight, Leyland Albion, Dance Talent Studio and Lucy Yates(the festival Queen herself) for their help with the film.

Lancashire Product Photography

Isobel from Paces & Laces asked me to come down and photograph some of her shoes to upload onto their new website…

as you can probably see, there was quite a few that needed doing so we managed to get a quick production line going…SHOE-CLICK-NEXT, no time for any fancy set ups on this one!

Finally, a bit of a personal post here…my wife fosters cats for Blackpool Cats in Care and we received our first pregnant cat a few months ago so i decided to capture a few of the highlights of our time with her (and them).
The footage was shot on whatever device was in reach at the time,Camcorder, DSLR, Go-Pro and even and iPhone

Did you manage not to cry?
We didn’t!

Thanks for reading, RTP 🙂

Lisa & Dan (teaser trailer)

Blackburn Wedding Videography

I walked away from this one and said to myself “Now That Was a Bloody Good Wedding”

As i arrived at Mytton Fold, Tim Emmerton Photography (tick), Robin from Dance Floor Couture (tick) and Creative Cover Hire (tick) were all prepping for Lisa & Dans Wonderful Yellow Wedding. Now I’m not going to say the Bride & Groom looked amazing,  the guests were all ‘UP FOR IT’ or the day could not have run any better, because that would be stating the obvious buuuuuuut some of my highlights were (in no particular order) A very surprising and entertaining blessing which took place straight after the ceremony, Tipitina (especially their stunning rendition of ‘Don’t you worry child), The Preston-Blackpool banter and Lisa’s sparkly dance floor surprise (never seen a happier bunny).

A Big thank you to Vicky Franks who suggested me to the Bride & Groom, it was a pleasure to shoot such a nice day 🙂

May Blog!

Just thought i’d share a few things that have been happening recently…

I spent a day with Karen (or Triple-O as i like to call her) from South Ribble and we visited various small businesses in the Leyland area to create a short episode for their revamped website. I will show you the finished article at a later date but for now i will let you have a quick look at some un-used footage which i posted last week on my facebook page…

Now, i know people are not going to be queuing to grab my autograph yet but the Leyland Guardian did a small piece on ‘Little Ol Me’ last week.
Kay Taylor actually managed to make it sound like i knew what i was doing in the article, which is no mean feat!

Leyland Festival will be upon us next month but the buzz has already started on their Facebook page and i have already started on the short film which will show highlights leading up to and including all the fun on the day, here is a rough cut of the first 25-30 seconds so far…

The Wedding season has already kicked off and i will be blogging ‘Lisa & Dan’s Wonderful Yellow Wedding’ in the next few weeks, Stay tuned!
