Great Hall at Maines Wedding Videography: Sam & Karl

The Bridesmaids set the tone as we started filming at The Great Hall for Mr & Mrs Ashcroft’s BIG DAY, it was so funny to watch them practice their walk down the aisle whilst Make-Up Artist Sonara Parker worked her magic in the kitchen. The Groom arrived with his 2 best men looking very sharp and ready for an awesome day with family and friends.

The Great Hall looked stunning with help of Creative Cover Hire which made it very easy for us and their wedding photographer Bobtale Photography to capture such gorgeous images. (lovely working with you Robyn)

We feel so lucky to be part of so many wonderful days such as Sam & Karl’s wedding, capturing their day and telling the story of how they spent an amazing day with all the people they love is an honor.  The first dance just exploded once those confetti cannons fired and as we left the evening reception we knew this was going to open their wedding video.

Mr & Mrs Thompson’s wedding reception was held at THE STUNNING Mitton Hall, it rained most of the day outside but that did not stop the HUUUUGE PARTY that was going on inside 🙂

Singer Stephen Bayliss started the party very early, we had most of the guests singing and dancing through the entire meal which helped me capture some great footage.

The Furious Styles took over from Stephen for the evening reception and kept the dance floor filled until the very end.

What a great wedding to film, the Bride & Groom did not stop smiling all day, the guests did not stop dancing all day and i loved every second of it!

Hello all and a Happy New Year 🙂

Here are a few stories from what i have been up to over the last few months.

Grand Designs

The Paul Ennis Group and their client hired me to produce a video which demonstrated what the company provided with a ‘Before & After’ video from a recent project so back in July i visited their office for a spot of filming before having a look at their clients home. In December i returned to the finished project to record a few shots which display what the company achieved.

War Memorial Opening

In November, South Ribble Borough Council opened a new war memorial to commemorate the people who lost their lives in World war 1. They staged a small event which started off with a touching services led by the Mayor and local church leaders and then it was off for High Tea with a great mixture of folk from all ages.

Promotional Video

My wedding chums from Dancefloor Couture asked me to produce a series of videos for their web/social media pages which show potential clients what they provide. Here is an example of one we used in a promotion in November.

The talented guys at Rejuvamed Clinic wanted a promotional video for their new website so we spent an afternoon with the staff and a few willing clients and here is what we produced.

Event Videography

This is my second year shooting the School Led conference with the team at Events Northern and this time i brought along my assistant camera man Paul from Freezeframe Productions.

A full day of shooting many speakers and the awesome singers from schools around the North West along with Andy Whitehead Photography

Stephanie & Rob: Wedding Films at Eaves Hall

Hurricane Desmond may have been the noisiest guest at Steph & Rob’s wedding but we pretty much ignored him for most of the day…

I do love a good festive wedding, this was my last before Christmas day and despite the rain (which we should all be pretty use to over the last few months) the whole day ran superbly for Mr & Mrs Harrison.

Stephanie managed to avoid the giggles during the ceremony (unlike the rehearsal) and looked gorgeous in her dress from Mears Ghyll Bridal Rooms, Barry & Lesley Anne from Eaves Hall did superbly on ‘Umbrella Duty’ when the guests arrived and the venue looked spectacular with lots of help from Creative Cover Hire, Margret Mason Florist (along with Anne Harrison & June Gill) & Amoretto Weddings.

This was my first time shooting with Laura & Tobiah from Tobiah Tayo Photography,a great couple and so much fun to spend the day with 🙂

Later on we were treated to a swing band for their first dance and then Dancefloor Couture provided the evening entertainment.

I know i said the last teaser was my final release of the year but i just had enough time to squeeze one more in 🙂

November and December 2015 have probably been the wettest wedding months i have ever seen but this has not stopped any of the ones i have filmed from being a great day for everyone involved and Charlotte & Stevens was no exception!
Mr & Mrs Knowles guests definitely knew how to enjoy themselves and with a little help from the ‘fabulous as ever’ Eaves Hall hosting their BIG DAY, the very talented Alex Birtwell providing the day time entertainment and the awesome Soul Education for the evening, the party just did not stop from the moment they arrived until last orders.

The early evening karaoke sessions had everyone singing the classics and you can find some clips from their on my facebook page here.

This was my first time working with Click Click Bang photography (great working with you guys) who had an extraordinary amount of gadgets in their bag for light painting & 3D photography.

A BIG, LOUD, FUN wedding and a hoot to shoot 🙂 Congratulations Mr & Mrs Knowles

Promotional Web Video for Business

Whitehead & Howarth Accountants hired me to produce a short promotional video for their website and social media pages, it was a very short shoot at their offices in St Annes and we also had the chance to use some old cine film from when the original owners worked in the same office. Ruth Moran Consulting Agency asked me to produce a set of team head shots for their website and social media pages, the only request “Can we make them all Black & White”, not a problem…..

The only slight problem was the amount of room we had to shoot in, the pictures were taken in a cloakroom which wasn’t ideal but this is quite common when shooting at a client’s office.
