A Browsholme Hall Wedding Story // Nicola & John

Bride & Groom sharing a lovely moment at Browsholme Hall in Clitheroe.

A Browsholme Hall Wedding Story

Nicola & John’s day started off in a very relaxed fashion at Ribble Valley Country Cottages. Nic, her girls and a rogue cat were very chilled during the morning preps. John and the boys spent their time learning how to operate a bow tie thanks to Youtube. The occasional North/South divide banter provided by Darren (Father of the Bride) set the tone for the speeches ahead.
A lovely ceremony at St Helens Church in Waddington was next before we ventured off to Cromwell Bridge and then landing at Browsholme Hall for the rest of the day.

Joining us on this wonderful day was Nick English Photography, The Bridal Artist Co, The Rock n Soulless (thank you for allowing me to use your performance for their soundtrack).
We had such a good time with Mr & Mrs Bintu, all their family and friends. Thank you for inviting me, hopefully I will see you at your brothers wedding πŸ˜†

New House Farm Wedding Films

A summer, festival styled wedding in the Lake District surrounded by mountains…YES PLEASE!!!

When driving away from New House Farm at approximately 10pm, when the thunder and lightening started, I thought to myself ‘WOW, That was my kind of day’
Weather wise, we were treated to a typical Cumbria day, blazing sunshine in the morning, rain for the ceremony, sun in the afternoon, rain for the first dance and then the previously mentioned storm. And not one drop of rain phased Hannah,Greg or their guests. They gladly danced in the rain until we all ran inside to continue the Ceilidh dancing in the barn.
Joining me on the day, we had Weddings by Annabel (thank you for recommending me for this one) Chris Freers Photography, The Triple Scotch Band (thank you for letting me use your music for their sound track).
Hannah & Greg hosted an amazing day in The Lakes, a really fun and chilled wedding with so many highlights.
My personal favourites – The Tug of War , Best Man with no pants πŸ©²πŸ˜…. The first dance and Ceilidh taking place with an amazing Cumbria backdrop ⛰️ The festival vibe and delicious food πŸ₯˜

Thank you for inviting me to your amazing day. If you are ever up for a sequel to this film, COUNT ME IN!!!

Sausage, Sausage, Sausage…
Yes, the tradition of ‘Burying the Sausage’ definitely worked for Alex & Nicole at Wyresdale Park back in June πŸ˜€

The day did start off with a little rain, but the Sausage soon got rid of that to make way for the glorious sunshine. The girls were enjoying a very calm morning in the North Wing at Wyresdale. Alex and his boys arrived looking sharp ready for a very loud and fun day.
Joining me on the day we had Sam Sparks on Photo duties, the very lovely and talented Gemma from Bells & Daisies Florist. Music provided by Bridgewater String Quartet and DFC (thank you both for allowing me to use your music for their soundtrack).
I would just like to thank Alex & Nicole for inviting me to their BIG DAY. I had so much fun with all your guests, they were all up for anything, especially in that MAD 20 SECOND slot 🀣

Eaves Hall Wedding Story

An outdoor wedding in the beautiful gardens of Eaves Hall, YES PLEASE!

An early start with the girls in the lodge at Eaves had us a little worried in regards to the weather, but as soon as we started walking up to the hall, sun, sun, sun 🌞
Both Izzy & James were very chilled during the morning preparations. Myself and photo buddy Nick English had a lot of fun in the run up to their ceremony.

A number of highlights from this wonderful wedding for me…
Izzy’s dads speech (you could not get any more Northern)
Our attempts at a ‘Veil Shot’ during the evening (Thanks Stacey)
Obviously having the ceremony outside (always looks great)
And basically having lots of laughs with all the guests (Cackling Bridesmaid included πŸ˜†)

Thank you for inviting me, I really enjoyed the whole day.
Your wedding film will be with you very soon.

A Mitton Hall Wedding Story

The sun just keeps on shining in 2025…

Jennifer & Marks beautiful wedding at Mitton Hall had a perfect vibe throughout the entire day. Myself and shooting buddy Nick English Photography had a very relaxed start with Jen & her Bridesmaids. They really set the vibe of the day during the morning preparations before Mark and the boys arrived.
Now, I cannot understate the importance of having someone like Alex Birtwell at your wedding. Having a host/singer to take care of the running of your reception and adding entertainment to the afternoon/evening, it really elevates the mood of your guests (and obviously give me amazing party footage for the film).
Mitton Hall had a great atmosphere after the ceremony and all the way through to the first dance thanks to the amazing crowd, great music and a wonderful Bride & Groom.

Highlights for me…
The comments made by one of Jen’s friends whilst putting on her dress (if you know you know 🀣)
The DANCE OFF, a very competitive slice of action after the meal.
Jen & Marks Wedding Squad, thank you for choosing a wonderful team, it really made it so easy to capture the day.
A super relaxed and chilled Bride & Groom ❀️

Thank you for inviting me to your amazing party, I had a great time with everyone, lots of love, Ro X
