We’ll just leave you with a few comments from our bride 🙂

“Where do I start with the wonderful Roland & Lisa?! This is so hard because I’m not sure words can explain how incredible they are! If you haven’t booked them and are debating it, what are you waiting for?! We cannot recommend them enough!! And if they’re fully booked, change your date! Everything about having the pair of them was one of the best decisions we made in the whole wedding process. We actually only booked them quite late in our process and we cannot imagine our wedding without them! On the wedding morning, both of them were unreal the moment they arrived. You should know, you’re not only booking videographers, you’re booking true helpers and actually friends, throughout the whole day making us both feel at ease and so comfortable during every moment. They were helping with all sorts and I didn’t even notice the video camera they were that amazing at it! They fitted in with all our guests and I know for a fact guests with future weddings will be booking these guys, and I cannot wait to see them again! Then moving onto our wedding video teaser, I genuinely think I’ve watched it over 100 times and this are just our teaser! The attention to detail, the effort they put into everything to ensure we got everything we wanted, literally PERFECT! Special shout out at a moment they captured of our Dog, which was so important to us and they absolutely nailed it, brings a tear to my eye every time I watch it so god knows how I will be during the full video! They have captured elements without us realising we were being filmed due how incredibly amazing they are! You can 100% tell they’re a husband & wife team – they just know!! Sometimes when you hear that people are meant to be in a job, these are the definition of that and we want to relive our full day again to simply be with these two! We both cannot thank you enough for absolutely everything and both genuinely believe our day would have been totally different had we not booked you two. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Lots of love, Mr & Mrs Westwood.”

Thank you for inviting us to your BIG DAY, Lots of Love, Ro & Lisa XXX

The Light…

Silly title, I know!

Today is the 8th of April 2021, yesterday I called my mum in Spain as it was her Birthday and I mentioned that I had sent a present through Amazon Prime and it might be late. What a terrible way to celebrate your Mothers 65th Birthday but somehow, this is ‘The Norm’
As a company, we have become very lazy in regards to anything wedding-related. We use to send out monthly newsletters to our clients, keep them up to date with what their employees are doing, show them some of our latest work but that has been so hard as there has been nothing to talk about, well, nothing positive.
Our last full-day wedding was March 2020 and in that time between then and now we have filmed just 1 Lockdown Wedding, lost all of our destination jobs, a number of UK weddings, and re-arranged the remaining on multiple occasions. All of the postponements arranged with minimum fuss due to the wonderful people who chose us for their BIG DAY.
We have remained relatively busy during these strange times. The commercial side of our business really saved us from having to retrain, find new income, or simply just live on Furlough. Having spoken to many wedding suppliers over the last 12 months, it seems that many of us are putting more effort into the corporate/business side of what we produce, and to be honest, that can be one of the positives we take away from this whole experience.
With the latest government roadmap seemingly on track, vaccinations flying through the country, let’s just whisper…

“There is light”

Shhhhh, don’t jinx it!

On June 23rd (as it stands) all shackles are released and our first wedding is 2 days after this. As wedding videographers, our job is to document what happens on the day in an unobtrusive way to capture natural reactions, it’s our job to be (mostly) in the background but what about those who are at the front of the crowd? Photographers, singers, DJs, Toastmasters, and anyone else who has to engage with 100+ people for hours and keep smiling. These people will have been out of the game for nearly 18 months, confidence may be a little low, for some it could almost be like starting all over again. Their businesses have been punched heavily through 20/21 and they may just need a little hug either on the day or a little time leading upto it. If you are a Bride or Groom who has made it through the last 18 months and you are now looking forward to your new date, give your favorite suppliers a hug, the ones who helped you through the difficult times and said “No problem”
Even though they have not yet worked on your wedding, give them a like on social media, tell your friends about them, review them on Google and let them know that they are appreciated.
For our part, we are going to list all the wonderful people who referred work to us over Lockdowns, please feel free to check them out.

Weddings at The Low Wood Bay Hotel: Sophie & Andrew

A beautiful September wedding in The Lake District.

“Thank you so much. It is amazing. We absolutely love it. You have captured our day perfectly. We can’t thank you both enough” xxxx

From the moment we arrived at their family home in Ingleton, The Hortons made us feel very welcome. The girls were all in a great mood (absolutely the number 1 sign it’s going to be a GOOD UN) the sun was shining, Soph was calm as the calmest of Cucumbers

Once again we joined an awesome team for their BIG DAY including  Beecham Photography Pat Mulligan Wedding Host Boom Live Entertainment & Jemma Stenning At Vain And Wedding hair.

Sophie & Andrew, were an absolute delight to spend the day with, super chilled, up for anything and of course, a very cute couple. Myself and Lisa would like to thank you both for inviting us along to be a part of your celebrations, all the very best X
