A few personal highlights from this wedding……Watching the very brave guests have the group shot whilst it was hailing (very funny) Mr & Mrs B’s choreographed first dance, the very eager lady leaping for the bouquet and one of our favorite bands filling the dancefloor during the evening reception 🙂
Congratulations Sara & Chris, thanks for inviting us x

When I first met Maxine and she told me her plan for the wedding, i thought to myself ‘THIS SOUNDS AMAZING’ we have a Masquerade Ball in a Tower with 70’s music performed by Odyssey & Gwen Dickey 🙂
Myself and Adam (Bosey) from DFC were smiling all the way through ‘Native New Yorker’ such a great party! Brides Little Helper once again did a great job of decorating Hoghton Tower for Mr & Mrs Roche which gave both me and ClickClickBang Photography plenty to shoot.
We had an interesting event with a Fire Engine which i will save for the feature film and those masked men on the dance floor is probably one of the strangest shots i have ever captured this year!
Congratulations Maxine & Chris, thanks for having me 🙂

Once we found out that Ash is a huuugggee Friends fan, all the old catchphrases came out which had us in stitches during the Portrait session with Nick English Photography (great working with you buddy)
The party at Stanley House kicked off early thanks to The Best Singing Waiters who entertained their guests from the meal until the evening reception, watching these guys really confirms to me how important it is to have good entertainment on your BIG DAY 🙂
What a fantastic couple to spend the day with, Congratulations Mr & Mrs Boyce, thanks for having me x

Sarah & Adam’s wedding at Brockholes Nature Reserve had a perfect mix of beauty, tears, fab weather, great locations and a full on P-A-R-T-Y to end the day.
Sarah and her girls all arrived in style and looking fab with their stunning bouquets from Lilybets Flowers, myself and James Jebson were ready to capture a glorious day in the sun, Sam Fitton was on hand to WOW the crowds with his magic and Andy Murphy kept the dance floor pumping all night!
You can find a Behind the Scenes clip from the evening reception by clicking the link below 🙂
I know it can only happen at this time of year but I do love to see Christmas trees at a Wedding!
Twas a cold December morning in Blackburn, the Ushers arrived at Elim Church, The Groom looked a little flustered due to a missing tie and we all waited for Sandra’s big entrance…
This was my first time shooting at Haighton Manor, a very cosy venue for a winter wedding and also my first time shooting with Sam Rigby Photography who valiantly struggled through the weather to get her shots (we both suffered from a bit of Lens steam due to temperature changes)
Some of the many highlights of the day for me were…
The East v West Banter
Richards (best man) ‘Guilty’ speech sketch
Colette singing ‘O Holy Night’ ( I nearly used this as the trailer soundtrack)
The Bridesmaids X Factor audition
All of the interviews (The welsh lady who thought she was Scottish)
Sandra’s Dad educating me about Ghanaian traditions
And not forgetting the toilet incident (Stephen, this will be on the extra’s disk)
Stephen & Sandra’s wedding was a great way to finish 2013 for me , plenty of tears, laughter and Christmas atmosphere which made it a perfect day for them.
This will probably be my last post for this year so I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!
