We have been working with a lot of our favorite Wedding Chums recently and though we would share some of the stories for you and hopefully give you a few ideas 🙂

Wedding Entertainment

Our Wedding Buddy Paul Guard hired us to produce a video to  show Brides and Grooms what he can offer for their wedding so went spent a full day at The Villa with him and his band capturing all the excitement.

Those ‘Good Ol Boys’ from The Rush asked us to film one of their live sets at The Mere Golf Resort to use on their web and social media sites so future Brides can see them in action before booking them for their reception.

We work with Dancefloor Couture A LOT! Most weddings we shoot will have one of their DJ’s/Host’s entertaining the guests so it was nice to be asked to film their second Wedding Entertainment Showcase which was held at Bar 1842 in Preston. A great day for future Brides & Grooms which gave them an opportunity to listen to musicians before booking them for the Big Day. and speaking of DFC…

Robin & Adam joined us for our first Blog of 2017, we had a lot of fun filming our first WedCarKaraoke 🙂

Wedding Venues

Last month were invited to Holmes Mill in Clitheroe, this is one of James Places new wedding venues and certainly won us over with its rustic charm

Once again we attended Bartle Hall’s Wedding Showcase, this was a 5 day event which was open to newly engaged couples looking for a perfect setting for their BIG DAY.

Heaton House Farm invited us down to their Wedding Experience Evening before Christmas, this was open to couples who had booked their wedding at HHF and were looking for great suppliers. We have now been added to their recommended list which you can find here

We will be back for Mitton Hall’s open day on the 26th of February.

T’was the Eve of Christmas Eve…

Alexa arrived at St Peters Church with Bab’s (Hurricane Barbara) and was completely un-phased by anything that was thrown at her (SuperBride).

A wonderful festive ceremony followed filled with Christmas Carols, an interesting prayer by Andrew which me and David Scholes (thanks for the Scones) had a ball photographing/filming.

Jason from Flower Design did an amazing job at the church and also The Inn at Whitewell with all the candles & flowers which added to the warm, winter feel, this really did get me in the mood as it was my last job before all the Turkey, Wine & Chocolate 🙂

North meets South!

Sian & Ben were joined by a rowdy bunch on their wedding day who all arrived at Mitton Hall ready for a an AWESOME DAY 🙂
It was lovely working with SDS Photography for the first time and we were joined by Red Floral, Creative Cover Hire and Dance floor Couture working in front and behind the scenes.
Ben was very nervous before the ceremony but the ice was well and truly broken when the registrar introduced them as Ben & Sean 🙂

We met Danielle & Ian not too long before their wedding in Ikea for a quick chat and then the future Mrs Sullivan-Jones proceeded to purchased every candle in store to light up her BIG DAY!

Myself, Lisa & Scott Sharman Photography had an early start with the Bridesmaids before setting off to the STUNNING Peckforton Castle for a Wonderful Winter Wedding.

Lots of laughs & tears (surprisingly from the Groom and Best Man) filled the day, what a great couple to shoot, we had soooo much fun with them, congratulations D&I, thanks for having us 🙂

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🙂

On the run up to Christmas we decided to shift gears a little in regards to our Vlogging and created 5 short videos which gave a little ‘Behind the Scenes’ action.

Now that we have just entered a brand new year its time to retreat into the editing cave so we can catch up with our project backlog and refresh ourselves for a new wedding season so our vlogs will take a little break for now but we will return very soon.

Our last teaser for 2016 🙂

Sara & Chris tied the knot in their home town of Oswaldtwistle before heading off to Bartle Hall for their wedding reception.

Mr & Mrs Burton’s AWESOME WEDTEAM included Kerry Woods Photography, Sam Fitton Magician, The Deadbeats, Ewood Florist, Malvern Wedding Cars and Creative Cover Hire.

A few personal highlights from this wedding……Watching the very brave guests have the group shot whilst it was hailing (very funny) Mr & Mrs B’s choreographed first dance, the very eager lady leaping for the bouquet and one of our favorite bands filling the dancefloor during the evening reception 🙂
