“Hey Roland we have watched it!! Several times!! I think i cried every time! Haha thank you so much for capturing our day we love it!! Xxx”

(Nicola)

“Hi Roland. I know Nicola has been messaging for the majority of our contact with you. But I felt I would personally thank you. I have been watching everything you have sent all day long. Both you and lisa have done a fantastic job of capturing our special day. You have put together a piece of art that will forever ignite my memories and bring me back to one of the most important days in my life! I can’t thank you enough. I will certainly be recommending you to absolutely everyone that I know or meet that wishes to get married. Thank you again”

(Trevor)

What made you chose The Great Hall?
Not going to lie it was the only venue we viewed and we fell in love with it straight away.. there wasnt even much of a discussion both Trevor and I looked at each other and we both knew what the other was thinking! This is the one!

Do you have a favourite part of the whole wedding experience?
I think i have a few.. firstly the vows were Trevor stated “awfully wedded wife” i started to plan our divorce (jokes)
Secondly our attempt of a perfect family photo (epic fail with both kids uncooperative and screaming)
Our mishap with the confetti cannons being set off at the cake cut instead of the first dance (my face was a picture)
Lastly our first dance with our little boy Reuben dressed as spiderman (not how we imagined our first dance to be haha!)
Jokes aside.. even with these little mishaps the entire day was still perfect, it was magical in every single way and we could not have asked for a more special day! We are truly grateful to everyone for making it happen! The drone was amazing!!!!!

What advice would you give to any Bride & Groom planning their wedding?
RELAX and CHERISH EVERY MOMENT!!! The day just goes so fast because your in a bubble of excitement, it is such a surreal day! The day is far to special to have any stress!

What made you pick RTP to film your wedding?
We had seen many videographers work over social media/internet etc.. and when we viewed the videos both Roland and Lisa had made we knew you were the guys for our job!! We haven’t yet seen our video at the time were writing this (no pressure) but we know it is going to be amazing because how you capture the days of videos we have seen is truly breathtaking! Your both so talented! We felt like we had known you both years! Such lovely people and down to earth! You helped to make our day so perfect and you have give us our memories! So Thank You!

“We are over the moon with the video and can’t thank you enough. It’s amazing to be able to relive the day and it wouldn’t have been possible without the film. We will cherish it for all our lives”
Thanks again,
Rebecca and John xxx

What made you choose Gibbon Bridge for your wedding?
We chose Gibbon Bridge due to the beautiful location and stunning gardens. We could really imagine all our family and friends outside enjoying themselves on the day.
The bar area and function room are close together and both spill out onto the terrace.
Our family and friends were able to stay over and be there with us in the morning which made it extra special, not to mention the exclusivity of the venue. Also, the staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is to die for!
For us, Gibbon Bridge was the perfect venue and we are so glad that we chose it.

How did John propose?
John and I are building a house together and a year ago it was just a plot of land. On the 21st May 2017, he took me to the plot and we began to mark out the corners of our house…all very exciting. He then took me to stand under an apple tree that would be in our back garden and said he wanted to tell me his plans for this part of the garden. He told me “we are going to get a little table and chairs and we will be able to sit out here for years to come and remember that this is where I asked you to marry me.” He then got down on one knee and of course I said yes! This couldn’t have been a more surprising, romantic and sentimental proposal and it’s so nice that the memory of it is in our back garden!

Hard question but do you have one favorite moment for your wedding? (you can have more than one if you like)
One of my favourite moments was walking down the isle and seeing all our loved ones together and then seeing John waiting for me. It is a huge moment and it doesn’t last for long so I am glad it has been captured on video!

Why did you choose RTP Films to record your BIG DAY?
We chose RTP films to record our special day because the videos that we watched of other weddings on the website were phenomenal. I don’t think I was able to watch one without welling up and thinking of what it would be like to have one capturing our own big day. Not only are Roland and Lisa incredibly talented, but they are so professional and it was lovely to have them with us all day. It’s important to have people that you feel comfortable with and that make you feel at ease. The ‘sneak peak’ was brilliant and made us so excited to see the full film. We are so happy that we chose RTP films and would highly recommend them to all future brides and grooms.

Congratulations guys, thanks for inviting us to your BIG DAY x

Hannah & Richard: Weddings at Gibbon Bridge

wedding-video-lancashire
“Hi Roland!
So rick and I have just had a lovely evening in with a bottle of mulled wine and take out pizza looking through our wedding photos and also the teaser video… we just LOVED the video and it brought tears to both of our eyes! We watched it a couple of times and can’t wait to see the feature video and extras!
Kind regards,
a very happy Mr and Mrs Barton out here in Australia”

What made you choose Gibbon Bridge for your wedding?

As we both grew up as children Hannah in The New Forest and Richard on the family farm we both have fond memories and love being in the countryside and fresh air. Now that we live in Australia we wanted to have a wedding that incorporated one thing we miss about living back in England, which is the English Countryside. We immediately fell in love with the The Gibbon Bridge Hotel as it offered everything we dreamt our wedding reception venue would have. The Gibbon Bridge Hotel allowed us to have a quaint traditional English country wedding reception after our church wedding. It has beautiful gardens with a backdrop of the rolling countryside along with very friendly staff and has a intimate and relaxed vibe.

How did Richard propose? (gushy details allowed)

Hannah lived in The Netherlands for five years before moving back to England to study nursing in Manchester where she and Richard met on a night out. Hannah and Richard’s first holiday together in 2010 was to visit her parents, allowing Richard to meet them during their university summer holiday, in The Netherlands. After that Hannah hadn’t been back to The Netherlands since because her parents then left the country. Hannah had always wanted to go back to visit The Netherlands as she has very fond memories from her time there and once they knew they were moving to Australia Richard suggested they went for her birthday in the September before they moved in the November. Hannah loved Schreveningen Beach so on her actual birthday they cycled there for the evening. Richard took Hannah to a bar on the beach front that they went to back at the beginning of their relationship (6years ago), which Hannah was surprised he remembered! Richard then asked if she wanted to go for a walk on the beach before getting something to eat. As they were walking along the beach a feather dropped in front of them then blew away and Hannah said ‘oh look it’s Grandma Haggis’ who is Hannah’s Grandma who passed away and Hannah was very close to and misses dearly. The nickname Haggis was because she lived in Scotland! A few steps further Richard then got on one knee and proposed. After the proposal he then said maybe that was your Grandma Haggis giving her blessing as she knew what was about to happen. (Hannah believes that a white feather falling in your path is a symbol that a loved one in heaven is letting you know they love you and are still there with you).

If you had to pick 1 favourite moment, what would it be? (Han & Rick)

Richard: Seeing Hannah walk down the aisle with her Dad.

Hannah: The first dance as husband and wife. I felt like a princess dancing and twirling in Richards arms around the dance floor.

Why choose a videographer to capture your BIG DAY?

We wanted to have everlasting memories of our special day that we can watch over and over again. We also know that there will be footage of different parts throughout the day that we may not have seen or that we have forgotten and wanted be able to relive these moments all over again.

Great Hall at Maines Wedding Videography: Sam & Karl

The Bridesmaids set the tone as we started filming at The Great Hall for Mr & Mrs Ashcroft’s BIG DAY, it was so funny to watch them practice their walk down the aisle whilst Make-Up Artist Sonara Parker worked her magic in the kitchen. The Groom arrived with his 2 best men looking very sharp and ready for an awesome day with family and friends.

The Great Hall looked stunning with help of Creative Cover Hire which made it very easy for us and their wedding photographer Bobtale Photography to capture such gorgeous images. (lovely working with you Robyn)

This is an example from our Cinematic Short package which has become very popular this year for couples who want a more stylized film which they can share online

We feel so lucky to be part of so many wonderful days such as Sam & Karl’s wedding, capturing their day and telling the story of how they spent an amazing day with all the people they love is an honor.  The first dance just exploded once those confetti cannons fired and as we left the evening reception we knew this was going to open their wedding video.

Thanks for inviting us Mr & Mrs Ashcroft x

Charlotte & Shaun tied the knot at Harthill Weddings in Cheshire, it started off as ‘That Fine Rain’ but it did not stop them from saying their vows outside with their family and friends 🙂
A BIG THANKS to Alex from Fairfield Photographic for suggesting me to Mr & Mrs Ellis, we both had a brilliant time it just got better and better as the day unfolded. ‘Pimp Your Prosecco’, Tapa’s (my fave) ice cream, throwing people in the air, lot’s of cheering and whooping, fireworks and so much more really made their wedding and unforgettable event 🙂

Congratulation to you both x

Promotional Web Video for Business

Whitehead & Howarth from RT Productions on Vimeo.

Whitehead & Howarth Accountants hired me to produce a short promotional video for their website and social media pages, it was a very short shoot at their offices in St Annes and we also had the chance to use some old cine film from when the original owners worked in the same office. If you are wanting ti know a little more about offers for Small Business Packages then please click here.

Headshot Photography

Ruth Moran Consulting Agency asked me to produce a set of team head shots for their website and social media pages, the only request “Can we make them all Black & White”, not a problem…..

The only slight problem was the amount of room we had to shoot in, the pictures were taken in a cloakroom which wasn’t ideal but this is quite common when shooting at a client’s office.
