Katie & Chris: Wedding Films at Stirk House
The Story of Katie & Chris x
“Everyone has loved the film 🙂 we’ve had so many messages from people saying they’ve cried at it!!
Thank you so much” 🙂
Katie
Why did you pick Stirk House for your wedding?
We were recommended Stirk House and as soon as we arrived on Christmas Eve to look around we fell in love. I (Katie) have a bit of an obsession with fairy lights so the tree at the front sealed the deal! Dave, Danielle and the team could have not been more amazing and truly made the day even better.
What made you decide to have a wedding video?
Because we didn’t want to miss anything! The day goes so quickly (cliche we know!) and we wanted to make sure that we could remember everyone and everything that made our day so special.
We also loved the interview idea that we had seen from your previous videos so we could look back on some precious memories from our family and friends.
What are some of your favourite memories from the whole wedding experience?
We loved the whole experience of getting married. We were really laid back in planning which made for a much smoother day as we weren’t stressing about anything going wrong!
Katie – “Peeking out of the window, hidden behind the curtain and seeing Chris arrive in his suit. It’s when it hit me that it was really happening!”
Chris – “Seeing Katie walk down the aisle towards me thinking how beautiful she looked and trying to hold it all together for the ceremony”
What did you want most of all from your your wedding day?
A huge party! We just wanted everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. We have friends and family from all over the place, a lot of whom have never met, so to get everyone together to celebrate was important.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Smith, thanks for inviting us, Ro & Lisa x
Barbz & Biscuit (Hayley & Pete): Weddings at The Belle Epoque, Knutsford
Oh we did enjoy the wedding of Barbz & Biscuit (the video should slightly explain the names), we had such a great day with ‘The Nelsons’ and their family 🙂
The ceremony and reception all took place at The Belle Epoque in the centre of Knutsford, a great boutique wedding venue which myself and Lisa were so looking forward to filming at as it was a new venue for us (apart from the odd social doo that is) and it did not disappoint.
The Bride arrived in her Grooms lovingly restored Ford Escort on busy and bright Saturday in July while Pete (Ginger Monkey Biscuit) and the guests were seated upstairs waiting for the star of the show.
After a lovely ceremony we took the newlyweds out with their photographers Pixies in the Cellar for a relaxed walk around town, it’s so nice to see a Bride & Groom mixing in with the public on their wedding, lots of clapping and cheering from cars and pedestrians always adds to the fun.
Congratulations Hayley & Peter, thank you for making us feel so welcome x
Louise & Scott: Weddings at Mitton Hall, Lancashire
July was a pretty mad month for us and sitting right in the middle of all the chaos was Mr & Mrs Connor who invited us to film their BIG DAY at Mitton Hall.
Louise and her bridesmaids set the tone for this wedding, all relaxed and calm in the morning, no stress at all, even when Scott turned up with his Best Man whose suit was 2 or 3 sizes bigger than he ordered, no one panicked at all (in fact, it got a few laughs).
Jonny Draper joined us on photography duties for this lovely Ribble Valley wedding and Liz Hendry provided some great tunes as we all enjoyed some sun in the garden, piggy backs during the photo shoot is always going to end with at least a dirty knee or elbow.
DFC finished the day off with Pat Mulligan and The Tonics keeping the dance floor rocking all night after a wonderful summer wedding with a great couple, congratulations guys x
A few lovely words from Scott & Louise after receiving their film 🙂
Having a videographer was something we didn’t choose straight away. Wow we are so incredibly happy that we did. You will not be disappointed with Roland and Lisa. We absolutely love our video and adored the sneak peak we received the next day! They really capture the moment of the day and even moments we don’t remember. A pleasure to meet you both and enjoyed having you at our special day. Definitely recommend you both and having a video to remember such a special day. Thank you so much. X
Browsholme Hall Weddings: Kimberley & Mike
Kimberley & Michael celebrated their BIG DAY with all family & friends at Browsholme Hall which is one of our favorite wedding venues deep in the Ribble Valley countryside.
The Bride & Groom enjoyed a perfect day with Ice Cream, Jenga and one of the longest confetti lines we have seen, David Scholes joined us for the shoot, it’s always great working with David, such a relaxed and fun photographer who we had a blast with on the day. We had a full day of musical talent including Hannah Rose for the ceremony, the Kick Back Sundays during the drinks reception and finally Hot Biscuit performed the First Dance and provided the evening dance floor entertainment.
Our friends at Creative Cover Hire & Brides Little Helper 12 Event Catering provide the room decor and delicious food for all the guests.
Such a lovely wedding to film, Congratulations Mr & Mrs Downes x

Wedding Blog: June 2017
Hello all 🙂
We have started a new style of blog for our summer season, you can find the first episode below which features lots of our favorite venues and suppliers.
June was a mad month for us and July is going to be even more packed, this is the busiest month of any year we have ever had.
Eaves Hall invited us along to their Botanical Wedding Fayre recently, here is a short highlights video we produced for them.
We filmed our last WedCarKaraoke in May and managed to persuade 3 of our former Brides to join us for a sing along and to chat about their weddings.
Thanks for reading, Ro & Lisa x
