2021: 6 months in 90 Seconds

We eventually returned to weddings at the end of June this year and like most suppliers in our industry, it felt like 6th gear all way through the summer of 2021.
Just as we are posting this, we’re prepping for our final wedding of this very strange year which takes place tomorrow. The batteries are charging, the gear is all packed and all but 2 of our edits have been sent out to our very happy couples. We would just like to say a quick thank you to everyone who has made 2021 so much fun. Our Brides, Grooms, Bridesmaids, FOTB’s, Best Men, colleagues and many more have been amazing considering the stress and pressure which everyone felt since the pandemic began in early 2020 (and its still here).
We are both really looking forward to kicking off the season again in February and all of our edits will be fully up to date.
Happy New Year, lots of love, Ro & Lisa x

Emma & Neil: Weddings at Eaves Hall

Sausage Fingers!

Emma & Neil’s brilliant, family centric wedding at Eaves Hall was such a good day to be a part of. From the very strange greetings cards in the morning which they sent each other (one being a sympathy card and the other, an anniversary) the ‘Sausage Finger Incident’ and obviously our favourite Silver Singer, Paul Guard keeping everyone entertained throughout the day, this wedding was soooo much fun!
Thank you for inviting us, it was lovely spending the day with your family, now get to work on that new Brother or Sister 🙂

Jodie & Stuart: Weddings at Eaves Hall

We first met Jodie when she was a Bridesmaid at her sisters wedding in 2018 and not long after this, her and Stuart joined us at Holmes Mill for a drink and a chat about their wedding.
It’s lovely returning to families we have filmed before. ‘Baz’ & Jodie spent a crisp Autumn day at Eaves Hall and we were invited to film the whole celebration.
The phrase of the day ‘Salad Fingers’ was introduced to us by the Bridesmaids and we were told to shout if anyone looked miserable on any shots, luckily we did not have to use it!
Mr & Mrs Barraclough had an amazing day, it was such a pleasure to spend time with this crowd again.
All the very best, lots of love, Ro & Lisa x

Eleisha & Oliver: Weddings at The Great Hall at Mains

What a stunning day we had in October for the wedding of Eleisha & Oliver at The Great Hall at Mains!
Mr. & Mrs. Flemming-Moon were such an easy going Bride & Groom, so chilled and up for anything that we asked. Someone once asked us what makes a good wedding? For us its the people who you invite, and these two invited a crew who were ready for a great party.
Thank you for inviting us to your BIG DAY, lots of love, Roland & Lisa X

Stephanie & Ian: Weddings at Holmes Mill

Stephanie & Ian tied the knot on a beautiful weekend in October with all their friends and family. Here is what they got up to.

As soon as we walked into the Bridal Preps at Holmes Mill, we were greeted by a huge, RRROOOLLLLAANNDDD and instantly remembered that one of our favourite Bridesmaids and future Bride was there!
We had a great morning with the bridal party, Scott & Lees Photography, Nala & Knot and Bluebells & Daisies. Steph was smiling all the way through the preparations and that carried on all way throughout the day.
Later on in the evening we were joined by one of our favourite bands, The Dead Beats who filled the dancefloor all night.
What an amazing day from start to finish. The weather was perfect, Steph & Ian were so much fun, the Bridesmaids on top form and of course dogs, we love dogs at weddings.
Congratulations guys, thanks for inviting us x

Thank you both so much for the film. We watched it last night and we love it. We have already watched it loads already. Thanks for including the ceremony & speeches too we really appreciate it. Thanks again for everything you did on the day too, Steph & Ian”

Abbey & James: Weddings at Mitton Hall

Officially this is WEDDING 2 and to enjoy any good sequel, you must revisit the first film, Wedding Day 1 and catch up with the backstory.

Since last November when they officially tied the knot at Mitton Hall] Mr & Mrs Mercer have been very busy with organising Wedding Day 2, moving house and also creating a brand new guest to invite to the party!

With all restrictions lifted Abbey & James blew the roof off Mitton Hall with the help of DFC Lancashire. Dan Wootton Photography as always was a barrel of laughs and it was just lovely to see their wedding story completed.
Thank you both for inviting us to your wedding, it has been such a great day(s) to be involved , all the very best,
Ro & Lisa x

A message from Abbey & James
Just a quick message to say we have now watched our wedding video, and shown both our parents the video. Everyone loves it! We feel so lucky that you were able to film both of our weddings 💞 you managed to capture the different atmospheres on both days, they’re just stunning and we love that we have them all to look back on. Thank you so much” 💞
