Eaves Hall Wedding Stories

“I can’t stop watching it thank you so so much” (Jess)

A Monday morning at Eaves Hall, down at the Lodge, all you could here was The Avocado Song & Crazy Frog Song on repeat, and that was my ear worm allllll day 🤣
Jess and Ash were super chilled during the morning preparation’s. Ash and his boys, suiting up in the Snooker Room at Eaves with a few surprises for our Groom from of his Bride. (surprise polaroids to follow)
I am sure Ash will not mind me saying this, but he was absolute WEDDING FILM GOLD when his daughters and Bride walked down the aisle. The tears started and did not stop until Jess stood by his side.
A few nervous mistakes really broke the ice during the ceremony and definitely added some lovely humour to the wedding vows.

“Wow …. Wow….. wow, We’ve just relived the best day of our lives because of you, That was amazing, We are both a crying mess right now and we’ve watched it on loop for the past hour” (Ash)

Jess & Ash assembled a great WedTeam including, Nick English Photography, Sophie Wakeman MUA, Fleur Design, Exceed Events, Lisa Marie Cakes Lucy Howard Hair.

I had such a good time with the new Mr & Mrs Edwards. I am so happy that you loved your film. Thank you for inviting me to your lovely wedding, lots of love, Roland x

Bride & Groom sharing a lovely moment at Browsholme Hall in Clitheroe.

A Browsholme Hall Wedding Story

Nicola & John’s day started off in a very relaxed fashion at Ribble Valley Country Cottages. Nic, her girls and a rogue cat were very chilled during the morning preps. John and the boys spent their time learning how to operate a bow tie thanks to Youtube. The occasional North/South divide banter provided by Darren (Father of the Bride) set the tone for the speeches ahead.
A lovely ceremony at St Helens Church in Waddington was next before we ventured off to Cromwell Bridge and then landing at Browsholme Hall for the rest of the day.

Joining us on this wonderful day was Nick English Photography, The Bridal Artist Co, The Rock n Soulless (thank you for allowing me to use your performance for their soundtrack).
We had such a good time with Mr & Mrs Bintu, all their family and friends. Thank you for inviting me, hopefully I will see you at your brothers wedding 😆

Weddings at Mitton Hall

It was a very wet start to the morning at Mitton Hall back in June. Rick arrived with a certain car in tow, Rachel & the girls enjoyed a calm morning whilst getting ready for a day of dancing, lots of dancing!
Mr & Mr Atkinson assembled a great WedTeam for the BIG DAY, they had L&L Photography, Sophie Jakeman MUA, Fiore Dorato Florists, Simply Bows Lancashire and incredible entertainment from Will Maden & Sochia.
The day was so calm and relaxed from morning preps until speeches. It then shifted gears into a proper party when Sochia warmed them up in the main hall before Will took over for the first dance and party, filled with smoke confetti and lasers.
A really great day for a really lovely couple ❤️

Bashall Barn Wedding Films

I had so much fun with Bernie & Alex on their wonderful wedding at Bashall Barn, and I think you can tell from their film above, that everyone was ready for an amazing day in the sun.
An early start with Bernie and the girls gave me an indication of what the day would hold. Shots in the bath, Bridesmaids singing Natasha Bedingfield’s ‘Unwritten’ at the top of their voices (obviously I got them to perform it again during the interview section).
Joining me on the day was Zoe Nickola, along with our friends at DFC. A special thanks to former ‘S Club Junior’ Stacey Franks for allowing me to use a selection of songs from her set.
As mentioned previously, Mr & Mrs Smith opted for Interviews during the day, this really helped to add more characters to the film and undoubtedly, more laugh’s 😅

A perfect day to spend with a genuinely lovely couple, thank you for inviting me and for the thoughtful gift you sent, I do love Cheese & Wine X

“Roland we’ve just watched our videos – and now we can’t stop watching them over and over again thank you SO much! You captured the day perfectly and we absolutely loveeeee them!!!!”
(Jen & Callum)

What an absolutely corking day I had with Mr & Mrs McElhinney and all their wonderful family and friends at The Inn at Whitewell. Starting with the morning preps (with some very extravagant wedding gifts) to the beautiful ceremony at St Peters Church at Stoneyhurst. Following on with a brief stop at Cromwell Bridge to capture some amazing shots of our Bride and Groom over the Ribble Valley, this wedding was a perfect Autumn celebration which was a joy to film.
As a wedding Filmmaker, I am always listening out for those golden moments during the speeches, and when Jen’s Dad delivered the ‘Hero’ line, I thought ‘YES, I HAVE MY OPENING’ 😀

Joining me on Shooting Duties was Nick English Photography who is always a pleasure to spend the day with.
Awesome couple, beautiful Autumn setting in the Ribble Valley, PERFECT!
Thank you once again for inviting me, lots of love, Roland X

Stirk House Wedding

Stirk House Wedding

The rain may have dominated the day at Stirk House, but Sarah & John definitely enjoyed a wonderful celebration with their family and friends.
Both myself and AWESOME PHOTOGRAPHER Kerry Woods had a great time with the new Mr & Mrs Clayton. It was an early start at Stirk, guests being loaded into the tractor (yes you read correctly) before a lovely ceremony down the road at St Marys. There was a slight delay due to the rings being left back at Stirk, but hopefully the guests did not notice due to our stealth guests who managed to retrieve them in time.

Thank you for inviting me to your wonderful day, it was lovely seeing you all again.
Your wedding film will be with you very soon X
