Weddings at Wyresdale Park: Vicky & Mason

lancashire-wedding-video

WHAT A WEDDING!!!

Some weddings you can just have a little too much fun at and this was definitely one of them. Vicky & Mason tied the knot on a (rare) sunny day in August. Both the Bride & Groom were ready for an amazing day as soon as we started filming.

Mr & Mrs C put a quality WEDDING TEAM together at Wyresdale Park including Foxley Photography, Mr Paul Guard, Bluebells & Daisies, Karen Rhodes Events, Bon Vivant, Sugar Wishes Cakes any many others who were all on top form, Vicky was kind enough to message us the following day once she received her Instagram Sneak Peek (below)

” Roland and Lisa, we just wanted to take the time out of currently living on cloud nine to say thank you so much for taking the time to capture our day on Saturday. We truly truly had the most unreal day ever which exceeded all expectations. We have both said since that a huge part of that was down to the amazing team we had working around us. We honestly cannot thank you enough for making our day so relaxed, making us feel so at ease, have so much fun and party so hard!!! We honestly and truthfully have loved meeting you both and would recommend you a million times over. That sneak peak that we received SO SOON has captured the utter blast we had in 30 seconds which is amazing and we cannot wait to see the final thing in months to come. Lisa, thank you for looking after me on the day, you were an utter angel and that Holly Willoughby comment,   What an absolute team, what an absolute day and what an absolute set of wonderful memories. Thank you SO much!! When are you free to do it all over again? Lots of love Vicky and Mason” xxxxx

Weddings at Beeston Manor

The Wonderful Winter Wedding of Ross & Sarah

What made you choose Beeston Manor for your BIG DAY?
We just instantly new it was right for us! Beautiful surroundings, lovely staff, amazing ceremony room and we just got the feels!!!!
Why did you pick RTP Films to film your wedding?
You have done our friends wedding videos and they were simply brilliant. Lisa and yourself are also very welcoming.
If you had to pick a favourite moment from the whole day, what would that be?
How can we choose! Just having everyone around us was amazing. But obviously the aisle walk, the vows and the first dance are some of our faves.
Any advice for a couple who are planning their wedding?
Don’t stress about the build up and the guest list etc. You forget about it all on the day. Take some deep breaths, take it all in (even the planning) and just get ready for the best day of your life!

Hannah & Lewis: Weddings at The Titanic Hotel, Liverpool

liverpool-wedding-video

“Wow! Simply amazing! We absolutely love it, the best email to wake up to! Thank you so much”

This just shows how bad weather does not ruin a great wedding!

What made you pick The Titanic Hotel?
It was just so cool and dramatic. It had all of the features that we love – exposed brick, greys, that industrial yet classy feel. It felt like somewhere that we would want to spend a lot of time. The service was slick but you felt comfortable and not uptight.
How did Lewis propose?, gushy details allowed
I was about to work away for 2 months, so the week before we took some time off. I wanted to propose before I went but by the time the ring arrived I only had one day. I tried to arrange to go somewhere nice, but Hannah just wanted to “stay at home all day”! I eventually got her to Speke Hall and had to hope there would be an opportunity. Luckily it was a nice day, and we found ourselves alone sitting on a bench in the gardens. I had prepared a poem (yes, another poem!) about things that Hannah loves, other than me, and in the last verse I got down on one knee and delivered the big words! After she had calmed down, Hannah was fuming that no-one was around to clap!
What was your favourite memory of THE BIG DAY?
So difficult to pick highlights! Walking down the aisle – both ways! The fireworks. Chatting to people in between courses of the wedding breakfast. The speeches. The band. The midnight pizza! At the end of the night once everyone had gone, we sat for ages outside on the colonnade with family, and it was just so nice reflecting on the past 24 hours!
What advice would you give to any couple planning their wedding?
– If you want the groom to help, give clear and precise instructions, and one job at a time! – Set out a clear vision of what you want, and not what anyone else wants. – Don’t discuss the plans with too many people as everyone has an opinion but it is your wedding! Also it keeps it a surprise for your guests. – Social media groups often have things for sale for a good price that you can then resell again. – Have days off from wedding planning!

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS, thanks for inviting us to your wedding x

Naomi & Gary: Weddings at Thornton Manor

CUTE COUPLE ALERT!!!

Why did you choose Thornton Manor for your wedding?

We chose Thornton Manor for a number of reasons; firstly the ceiling in the music room reminded us of our first holiday together when we visited the Sistine Chapel, the exit of the music room looks like the wardrobe from beauty and the beast!! Being a huge Disney geek I loved this. The grounds themselves are beautiful and the whole Manor House itself is simply stunning, romantic and perfect.

What are your favourite memories from the whole experience?

When I walked into the ceremony room and saw Gary. In all honestly I don’t remember what the room looked like. The only thing I could see was Gary. Spending the time on our own during the pictures was amazing. Of course the speeches- have one of my oldest friends walk me down the aisle and do a speech is a little unconventional so I was worried about his speech but it was perfect!
Gary said his favourite memory was seeing me walk down the aisle and walking into the music room together passed all of our guests.
What advice would you give anyone planning their own wedding?
Take full advantage of your wedding party, get them making favours and on the day before your wedding turn your phone off and divert all calls to your chief bridesmaid. You don’t want to be stressed out with guests and suppliers calling so get them to call the groom or a bridesmaid! Don’t worry about the small stuff. I had espresso martini split on my dress, my dress strap broke, the cake was wonky, out canapés were wrong  and Gary’s pants split! But it was without a doubt the best day of our lives!

Congratulations Guys, thanks for inviting us to your BIG DAY xxx

Kate & Rick: Weddings at Mitton Hall

manchester-videographer-wedding

What a blast with a lovely couple!!!!

Why did you choose Mitton Hall for your Wedding?
Mitton Hall was actually the first venue we visited having never been there before. We knew it was pretty special when every venue we went to after our visit we just kept comparing back to Mitton Hall. It ticked every box for us. A light and airy neutral orangery wedding room, accommodation, (reasonable priced drinks) and an AMAZING outdoor space. Staff and food were just first class…it really was the perfect place for our perfect day.

What advice would you give to any couple who are planning their Big Day?
Whilst money and spending can go crazy and you so badly try to stick to your “wedding budget”…also remember that this is your special day and you will (hopefully) only be doing it once in your life. So whilst it’s good to watch the pennies, don’t take it to the extreme where you will look back with regret and think, “I wish we’d got this” and “I wish we’d booked that”. Plus don’t rush into anything, suppliers etc….you’ll know when it’s right! And our last piece of advice…things that seem so big to you last minute that you think to yourself you MUST get done…please don’t worry. It’s those things that on the day you won’t even think twice about. Just enjoy every minute and that includes the few days build up before.

I know it’s tough but what were your favorite parts of the day?
We definitely LOVED arriving at the venue. We had music blasting out of our wedding car whilst we serenaded everyone with our ahem perfect singing. Seeing all our guests waiting for us as we pulled up was so lovely.
Walking in to the wedding breakfast was also a real highlight for us…having a little boogie as we made our entrance and seeing so many smiling happy faces was amazing.
The church service was so so special for us, it felt like everything had built up to this unforgettable moment.
And generally just seeing all our ideas come together so perfectly (thanks to the help of the fantastic teams/suppliers around us)…an absolute treat!

Why pick RTP to film your wedding?

Why?….that is a good question. Still not sure why we did 😉 haha no but seriously. Roland was actually suggested to us by our photographers. And from our first meeting with the man himself we knew we’d got ourselves a winner. What an absolute legend!! Like a piece of the furniture some may say (in a good way), it never felt uncomfortable with the cameras around and it was so easy to just be yourself with Roland. We can’t speak highly enough of you and would recommend RTP in a heartbeat to anyone. Thanks for being you and doing what you do…legend 🖕🏼 (
Cheers!!!!!!!

Sam & Sophie: Weddings at The Oak Tree Peover

manchester-wedding-video

Highlights from Sam & Sophies Summer Wedding!

Why The Oak Tree for your Big Day?

Whilst wedding venue hunting, we found The Oak Tree of Peover on the back of a bridal magazine, we instantly loved it from the photos so we booked a viewing and fell head over heals with it. We loved everything about it, a small intimate, rustic and romance. It was perfect for us. From the very start we loved the idea of tipi’s so when The Oak Tree told us we could have tipi’s at the venue, it was a done deal.

How did Sam propose?

Sam proposed in the Lake District in my Auntie’s Cottage in Bowness. We went for a few days away over the last bank holiday in May 2016. I was upstairs and there was a knock at the door so I went to answer it as Sam was “busy”. Outside was our chocolate Labrador-Jenson with a top hat on, dickiebow and a sign round his neck saying “mummy will you marry daddy”. With my sister hidden behind a plant pot with a confetti canon, I couldn’t stop laughing. Sam then appeared behind me and got down on one knee. Little did I realised my sisters boyfriend videoing the whole thing through some railings

Oh my god that is amazing! Actually so so amazing! We can’t Stop watching it!!

(Sophie: The Bride)

What advice would you give to any Bride & Groom planning their wedding?

The advice We’d give to brides and grooms is just to enjoy every single moment of the run up and on the day. Everyone says that but it really is an amazing day and your just in this little wedding bubble so enjoy every single second you can. Try to book all your vendors as soon as possible to avoid being disappointed and to make sure you have your dream day with all your favourite suppliers. Surround yourselves with the best.

Why did you pick us to film your BEAUTIFUL WEDDING?

Roland and Lisa were recommended to us by sisters friends, we loved their videos from the beginning. Writing this we have only seen our sneak peak and that was amazing already so we are so excited to see the whole thing and the teaser! Your both so amazing and you both really made us feel at ease throughout the day. I couldn’t recommend you both more! It was a perfect day start to finish thanks to you both and we have amazing memories to cherish forever. Thank you so so much for everything.

Congratulations S&S, thanks for inviting us x
