Hello all 🙂

We have started a new style of blog for our summer season, you can find the first episode below which features lots of our favorite venues and suppliers.

June was a mad month for us and July is going to be even more packed, this is the busiest month of any year we have ever had.
Eaves Hall invited us along to their Botanical Wedding Fayre recently, here is a short highlights video we produced for them.

We filmed our last WedCarKaraoke in May and managed to persuade 3 of our former Brides to join us for a sing along and to chat about their weddings.

Emily & Aaron: Weddings at The Windmill, Whiteley Green

A country pub location, a beautiful Bride and handsome Groom, lawn games, loud guests and Pugs, this is what a summer wedding is all about!

We arrived early at Norcliffe Chapel in Styal on a very hot Saturday in June ready for the marriage of Emily & Aaron. The Groom and guests enjoyed drinks before the ceremony at The Ship.

The Church setting was perfect as Emily arrived with her Bridesmaids and we enjoyed a very relaxed and humorous ceremony thanks to a great vicar and readings from the bridal party.

After a short drive from the church we arrived at The Windmill Pub which proved to be the perfect reception venue with a real rustic and country charm complete with its own little maze which Chris Morse used for the group shot. The lawn games were very entertaining in the blazing sun, every few minutes you either heard screams from the Jenga Tower falling or shouts of victory as  the hoop competition heated up.

Blank Cheque provided the evening entertainment and as the sun started to fall we managed to capture the Throwing of the Bouquet which perfectly ended this amazing day that we both thoroughly enjoyed being a part of

Yorkshire Wedding Barn: Anjulee & Simon

The Yorkshire Wedding Barn was our destination for Anj & Simon’s BIG DAY, a stunning marriage venue situated in the country town of Richmond. We had a very early start to capture all the fun during the Bridal preparations. What an amazing group of Bridesmaids we had to film, singing their hearts out in the kitchen as the Bride was getting ready upstairs with the hair and make-up artists. The Groom was pretty calm in the morning, he was having fun with Smiler (Bestman) and the Ushers whilst Red Floral Architecture and My Something Borrowed gave the ceremony room a rustic transformation. It was great to work alongside Jemima Stubbs Photography who we had such a laugh with during the day and evening, thank you to all the staff at the barn and Ray Wade Catering for taking care of us.

Mr & Mrs Greenbank threw one hell of an amazing day but the icing on the cake (no pun intended) was the evening reception, it started off with a MAD DANCE by the newlyweds and then suddenly out of no where the Punjab Bhangra Crew  jumped on the dance floor and the party went through the roof!
Such a great wedding to film, having a couple who smiled non stop really made our job very easy, these Yorkie’s really made us Lanc’s feel very welcome, congratulations to you both 🙂

Great Hall at Maines Wedding Videography: Sam & Karl

The Bridesmaids set the tone as we started filming at The Great Hall for Mr & Mrs Ashcroft’s BIG DAY, it was so funny to watch them practice their walk down the aisle whilst Make-Up Artist Sonara Parker worked her magic in the kitchen. The Groom arrived with his 2 best men looking very sharp and ready for an awesome day with family and friends.

The Great Hall looked stunning with help of Creative Cover Hire which made it very easy for us and their wedding photographer Bobtale Photography to capture such gorgeous images. (lovely working with you Robyn)

We feel so lucky to be part of so many wonderful days such as Sam & Karl’s wedding, capturing their day and telling the story of how they spent an amazing day with all the people they love is an honor.  The first dance just exploded once those confetti cannons fired and as we left the evening reception we knew this was going to open their wedding video.

Great Hall at Mains Wedding: Hanna & Adam

The Groomsmen were pulling pints behind the bar as we started filming in the centre of Poulton on  a crisp Saturday in April, Jane & Jason from Flower Design fitted the buttonhole flowers to the boys whilst the guests arrived at St Chads Church. The soundtrack to their Big Day really set the tone thanks to Poulton Peoples Choir, we had dancing and clapping bridesmaids all through the service. Hanna arrived with her father and was greeted almost like royalty by the Poulton shoppers who wanted to grab a quick picture of  the Bride before she tied the knot.

A quick bus trip to The Great Hall after the ceremony and we were welcomed by one of favourite singers Paul Guard who entertained everyone through the drinks reception, breakfast and he even performed the first dance!

It was great to work alongside Katie & James from Fairclough Photography,  The Keytars Wedding Band on such an amazing wedding, Mr & Mrs Jarvis picked a perfect team for their wedding and it made it so easy for us film, one of our best memories is just how much Hanna & Adam smiled all day, it was an absolute pleasure to film this beautiful day, congratulations Mr & Mrs J x

Sian & Ben: Wedding Films at Mitton Hall, Lancashire

Sian & Ben were joined by a rowdy bunch on their wedding day who all arrived at Mitton Hall ready for a an AWESOME DAY 🙂
It was lovely working with SDS Photography for the first time and we were joined by Red Floral, Creative Cover Hire and Dance floor Couture working in front and behind the scenes.
Ben was very nervous before the ceremony but the ice was well and truly broken when the registrar introduced them as Ben & Sean 🙂
