To film a wedding at Eaves Hall is always a treat for us as it really does have it all. What more could any bride wish for on their big day. Not only do you get a stunning venue surrounded by amazing views within the Ribble Valley, but the staff here are great too. James Places really know how to do things right.
Although the weather was not kind on this miserable March morning this did not dampen the wedding party’s spirits one bit. The ceremony took place in the Beautiful St Leonards Church in Downham Blackburn. And if you were looking to tick the quaint British village box, then this village does just that. Simply beautiful. The bride looked stunning as she walked into the church along with her bridesmaids, and a beautiful ceremony took place.
After a quick dash for the wedding cars, everyone headed back to Eaves Hall to start the wedding celebrations. A great party vibe was obvious from the very beginning of the reception and the wedding guests were treated to a wonderful wedding breakfast (as were we). The room looked amazing and the Best Mans speech got lots of laughs from the crowd and lots of cringes from the Groom.
After the meal the guests were treated to magic by Sam Fitton Magician and music by The Deadbeats Party Band.
Working with wedding photographer David Stubbs was a joy, such a great guy. What a great start to the wedding season, congratulations Mr & Mrs Roberts, thanks for having us!
