Barbz & Biscuit (Hayley & Pete): Weddings at The Belle Epoque, Knutsford

wedding-video-cheshire

Oh we did enjoy the wedding of Barbz & Biscuit (the video should slightly explain the names), we had such a great day with ‘The Nelsons’ and their family πŸ™‚

The ceremony and reception all took place at The Belle Epoque in the centre of Knutsford, a great boutique wedding venue which myself and Lisa were so looking forward to filming at as it was a new venue for us (apart from the odd social doo that is) and it did not disappoint.
The Bride arrived in her Grooms lovingly restored Ford Escort on busy and bright Saturday in July while Pete (Ginger Monkey Biscuit) and the guests were seated upstairs waiting for the star of the show.

After a lovely ceremony we took the newlyweds out with their photographers Pixies in the Cellar for a relaxed walk around town, it’s so nice to see a Bride & Groom mixing in with the public on their wedding, lots of clapping and cheering from cars and pedestrians always adds to the fun.

Congratulations Hayley & Peter, thank you for making us feel so welcome x

Mags & Floyd: Weddings at Broughton Hall

Mr & Mrs Draper enjoyed an exceptional day in the sun at Broughton Hall in July and here is the proof!

Mags & Floyd first contacted us after seeing one of our earlier films shot at this venue which helped her decide this was the perfect place for her and lucky for us she wanted the same video crew πŸ™‚

2-3 months leading up the wedding we joked that because it was on my birthday the celebration was really for me and not their marriage, Mags being the cheeky bride she is actually challenged me during her speech and i received a birthday cake and son-a-long from Paul Guard and their guests and i also had to deliver a speech, i think i just got away with it!

An early start in the West Yorkshire countryside for Lisa & Myself, we both jumped in between Bride & Groom preparations before a short drive to the church and then all back for a big party in the glorious sunshine. The Draper’s put together a great team for their wedding including Jason Rea Magic, Victor Trusch, Fusion Flower & Yorkshire Bar Company, such a great day with a lovely couple who we had lots of fun with.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs D x

Mitton Hall Weddings: Kelly & Steven

I remember our first meeting with the future Mr & Mrs G, it ended with me removing a very large old and heavy radiator from their home….

Such a wonderful wedding, so much crammed into 1 day. We started early at Mitton Hall with Abigail & Eye PhotographyΒ &Β Flower Designs to capture the bridal preparations and all the surprises that Steven had laid out for his bride (and there was plenty). A beautiful July wedding in the Ribble Valley with plenty of music and entertainment thanks to Jade Gallagher, Lionel Vinyl, Touch the PearlΒ Chris Hurst Magic and of course ‘this lot’ below πŸ™‚

Congratulations Kelly & Steven, thank you for having us on your very special day , Ro & Lisa x

Inn at Whitewell Weddings: Rebecca & Tom

Rebecca & Tom’s wedding ceremony has to be one of the best services we have filmed in a long time. Largely thanks to the Priest at All Saints Church in Hesketh Bank, an extremely welcoming man who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Ward (Father of the Bride) personally thanked him in front of the guests just before the happy couple walked down the aisle together.

The day started with ‘That Fine Rain’ as me and Lisa started filming the Bridal Prep’s at Rebecca’s parents home which was just round the corner from the church. Jason from Flower Design spent time with the bridesmaids explaining how to hold the bouquets correctly, I think it has something to do with fertility from what he was saying, it went way over my head but sounded very interesting to the girls. Ward showed us the tandem he had made as a gift to his daughter and future son in law which I quickly had to run out and film before he cycled it to the church. Thanks to the extremely talented Lottie Designs for the photograph πŸ™‚

Tom broke the ice as you will have seen in the clip with a very eager ‘I Will’. As soon as he said it I knew I had the start of their film!
lancashire-
The Inn at Whitewell hosted the reception, with Howard Wing entertaining guests throughout the wedding breakfast and into the evening reception which ended for us with the new Mr & Mrs Harrison being drowned by confetti on the Β dance floor.

A fabulous wedding, never dampened by the drizzle. Congratulations to you both, Ro & Lisa x

We have now watched the video and it’s fabulous. We love it & we are so so happy we have it for the memory box!! I think it might be on repeat for quite sometime though initially!!!

Thanks once again for your help. Can’t believe it was a month ago tomorrow!!

Take care

Tom & Rebecca xx

Mitton Hall Weddings: Sophie & Luke

Sophie & Luke were so lucky with the weather on their special day in May, brilliant sunshine all morning for the ceremony in Darwen and just as we had thrown the confetti, the thunder cracked, the heavens opened and we had a down pour of hail and rain up until we arrived at Mitton Hall, perfect timing for the sun to show it’s face again for the rest of the day.

Joining us on ‘Image Capturing Duty’ was David Stubbs whilst Sam Fitton entertained the guests during the early drinks reception. Red Floral Architecture, Creative Cover Hire & Pink Frosting added their special touches to the stunning decor, the room looked absolutely beautiful for the Bride & Groom.

One of our favourite scenes (amongst many) was Nana on the dancefloor once DFC invited everyone to join Mr & Mrs Heath after the first dance (she’s in her 90’s and dancing to rap music).

We managed to send this teaser over to the happy couple on their honeymoon so they could enjoy it in the sun, here is their first response…

Hi Roland,
Oh wow! What a fabulous surprise, we absolutely love it thanks so so much!
And thanks once again for everything on the day πŸ™‚
Thank you to Sophie, Luke, all their friends and family for having us and making us feel so welcome on the day, congratulations from Ro & Lisa x

Just a lovely wedding πŸ™‚

Youtube Version

I knew this was gonna be a great wedding to shoot, brides of weddings past and future in the same room, family members, talented wedding friends all came together for Mr & Mrs Awdes BIG DAY πŸ™‚
So where do we begin…
It was a bright January morning at Mitton Hall, i spotted Lottie Designs shooting away, Finch Bakery delivering the cake and the groomsmen having a couple of early drinks to calm their nerves. Dax on Sax (with Sam Shepherd on DJ duties) entertained the guests before the Wedding Breakfast and then it was time for the speeches with a very entertaining song from Best Man Dan (thanks for the tracks http://www.danphillipson.com/ ). Sam Fitton joined for the evening reception and even managed to set the fire alarm off with his finale for Carly & Phil (Very Funny). Andy Murphy kept the Dancefloor filled until the small hours with some help from Mr Worm & The Phantom Splits (we’re shooting his wedding this year, can’t wait for that)
An Awesome Wedding With Awesome People
