“OMG, what can we say? We absolutely love our wedding video, you have captured our day so perfectly and it is so fitting for us! We have watched it so many times and each time is better than the last, We are so glad we trusted you to film our wedding day, not only are you brilliant at what you do but you are a wonderful person! Thank you so much, Roland, we couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our most special day! We can’t thank you enough, lots of love Mr & Mrs. Jones xxx“
Smoke Flares have definitely made a return to weddings in 2022, and how good do Ellie, Matt and their ‘Bride-Tribe’ look whilst jumping around in a field. From the Bridal Preps at their home in Preston, all way through to the dancefloor at Ribby Hall, Ellie & Matts wedding was such a fun, and relaxed day to be a part of. Plenty of tears (especially Matt as Ellie walked down the aisle) laughter, dancing and defective bottles of Prosecco all added to an amazing day. Thanks for inviting us, we had a blast X North West Wedding Videographer
(a message from Katie after watching her film) “Absolutely incredible! There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing our wedding video is. Roland and Lisa are not only fantastic at what they do, but they are the nicest people too. They made us feel so comfortable and I am amazed at the brilliant shots they managed to get without us noticing them throughout the day! Booking Roland and Lisa was the best decision we made. Our video is perfection! Thank you both so much for capturing our daydream team! 🙌”
What a wonderful day we had with Katie & James at Beeston Manor for their wedding which finally happened after a very long period of postponements. The sun was beaming all day, Alex Birtwell was singing his little heart out and Mr. & Mrs. Pulman laughed, cried, danced and drank with all their very favorite people. Thank you for inviting us both, we had such a great day with you all, Ro & Lisa X
We are into our 4th week of LOCKDOWN at home, luckily the weather has been good enough that we can sit out in the garden and sort of convince ourselves that this is a holiday (as much as that is possible with all the daily updates from this virus).
We have a fairly strict routine of… Walk the dog – (a huge empty field for us), eat Breakfast, work out (homemade gym), sit in the garden (if weather permits), deal with any work emails (luckily the wedding cancellation/postponements have died down for now but we expect another round soon), make a few video calls to catch up with the outside world, maybe a bit of TV or a Film and finish the day off with supper and bed, THATS IT! After 5 weeks of this, boredom has started to creep in a little so this week we have both decided to take up an instrument, god help the neighbours. We are not sure how long we’ll keep this up, as long as we are kept in doors to be honest so we’d like to make an appeal to Bojo, Mr Trump, W.H.O and anyone else who is working hard to fight Coronavirus, DOUBLE YOUR EFFORTS or we may get to a point when we unleash our musical abilities to the world and no one wants that.
Its not all Doom & Gloom though, i think we can all agree that there are many great things that have come out of this pandemic. Community spirit has gone in to overdrive, the amount of online chats, quiz nights, help groups, virtual bars, live entertainment streams we have witnessed over the past few weeks has been incredible. The NHS Thursday night claps have put our amazing national service to the front of our thoughts and hearts. Boredom inspires people to create or try something new whether it is a short TikTok dance with your family, creating works of art in your kitchen or simply learning a new craft. Once this is all over a great number of people will come out of this with a new outlook and set of skills which they would never have dreamed of without being forced to STAY AT HOME and take a break from their lives for a short while so make the most of this time we have.
Anyway, its Dog walking time now so we’d better leave this here for now, STAY SAFE EVERYONE X
We both really liked the barn setting! Was just a beautiful area what with the drapes and twinkling lights. And I liked how we broke out to the main house for the drinks reception. Also we had people traveling over from Yorkshire so having the rooms were a major plus.
How did Craig propose?
Craig proposed in June 2017 we were staying in Keswick lodge retreat for my birthday. The day before my birthday we went on a lovely walk with maya our dog. And over the amazing views of Bassenthwhaite lake he popped the question. Was a perfect spot and the weather was beautiful.
Do you have a favourite memory from the whole day?
Honestly the whole day was just amazing and truly was the best day. If I had to choose a favourite part was when we walked back down the isle as a married couple! Was the first time I really saw everyone and was just a special moment. Craigs favourite was coming back in to the wedding breakfast as mr and Mrs latham. Shout out to Alex who did all our music, as he suggested playing 99 problems by jay z when we came in! And we loved it having a little dance coming in. Craig now has that as his ring tone when I phone him haha!!
We chose you as We loved your films!!! The edit of them is like a movie. We knew you would capture the moments we wouldn’t have seen, giving us a different view of our day. And when we met you, you were so friendly and put us both at ease. Would definitely recommend you!!!!
Any advice for a couple planning their wedding?
I would say it’s in the planning and organising. I had lists coming out of my ears! But helped to keep me calm and not stressed. But other then that enjoy it and when it comes To closer to the day don’t be stressing about the little details! Go with the flow.
