Becca ‘n’ Matty: Weddings at Eaves Hall

Highlights from Rebecca & Mathews Summer wedding at Eaves Hall.

Such a lovely wedding, Rebecca really made sure we felt welcome at the bridal prep’s, “do you want a brew, bacon butty?”
We were so lucky with our August weddings, all sunshine and happy faces which always makes it easy for us to film and this one was no exception.
The morning of the wedding was very busy at the Salkeld household, Flossy & Leigh worked their magic with the girls, Flower Design delivered their gorgeous floral work while ourselves and Stanbury Photography filmed and photographed all the fun.

Barbz & Biscuit (Hayley & Pete): Weddings at The Belle Epoque, Knutsford

wedding-video-cheshire

Oh we did enjoy the wedding of Barbz & Biscuit (the video should slightly explain the names), we had such a great day with ‘The Nelsons’ and their family 🙂

The ceremony and reception all took place at The Belle Epoque in the centre of Knutsford, a great boutique wedding venue which myself and Lisa were so looking forward to filming at as it was a new venue for us (apart from the odd social doo that is) and it did not disappoint.
The Bride arrived in her Grooms lovingly restored Ford Escort on busy and bright Saturday in July while Pete (Ginger Monkey Biscuit) and the guests were seated upstairs waiting for the star of the show.

After a lovely ceremony we took the newlyweds out with their photographers Pixies in the Cellar for a relaxed walk around town, it’s so nice to see a Bride & Groom mixing in with the public on their wedding, lots of clapping and cheering from cars and pedestrians always adds to the fun.

Congratulations Hayley & Peter, thank you for making us feel so welcome x

Louise & Scott: Weddings at Mitton Hall, Lancashire

manchester-wedding-video

July was a pretty mad month for us and sitting right in the middle of all the chaos was Mr & Mrs Connor who invited us to film their BIG DAY at Mitton Hall.

Louise and her bridesmaids set the tone for this wedding, all relaxed and calm in the morning, no stress at all, even when Scott turned up with his Best Man whose suit was 2 or 3 sizes bigger than he ordered, no one panicked at all (in fact, it got a few laughs).
Jonny Draper joined us on photography duties for this lovely Ribble Valley wedding and Liz Hendry provided some great tunes  as we all enjoyed some sun in the garden, piggy backs during the photo shoot is always going to end with at least a dirty knee or elbow.
DFC finished the day off with Pat Mulligan and The Tonics keeping the dance floor rocking all night after a wonderful summer wedding with a great couple, congratulations guys x

A few lovely words from Scott & Louise after receiving their film 🙂

Having a videographer was something we didn’t choose straight away. Wow we are so incredibly happy that we did. You will not be disappointed with Roland and Lisa. We absolutely love our video and adored the sneak peak we received the next day! They really capture the moment of the day and even moments we don’t remember. A pleasure to meet you both and enjoyed having you at our special day. Definitely recommend you both and having a video to remember such a special day. Thank you so much. X

Browsholme Hall Weddings: Kimberley & Mike

Kimberley & Michael celebrated their BIG DAY with all family & friends at Browsholme Hall which is one of our favorite wedding venues deep in the Ribble Valley countryside.

The Bride & Groom enjoyed a perfect day with Ice Cream, Jenga  and one of the longest confetti lines we have seen, David Scholes joined us for the shoot, it’s always great working with David, such a relaxed and fun photographer who we had a blast with on the day. We had a full day of musical talent including Hannah Rose for the ceremony, the Kick Back Sundays  during the drinks reception and finally Hot Biscuit performed the First Dance and provided the evening dance floor entertainment.

Our friends at Creative Cover Hire & Brides Little Helper  12 Event Catering  provide the room decor and delicious food for all the guests.

Such a lovely wedding to film, Congratulations Mr & Mrs Downes x

Mitton Hall Weddings: Sophie & Luke

Sophie & Luke were so lucky with the weather on their special day in May, brilliant sunshine all morning for the ceremony in Darwen and just as we had thrown the confetti, the thunder cracked, the heavens opened and we had a down pour of hail and rain up until we arrived at Mitton Hall, perfect timing for the sun to show it’s face again for the rest of the day.

Joining us on ‘Image Capturing Duty’ was David Stubbs whilst Sam Fitton entertained the guests during the early drinks reception. Red Floral Architecture, Creative Cover Hire & Pink Frosting added their special touches to the stunning decor, the room looked absolutely beautiful for the Bride & Groom.

One of our favourite scenes (amongst many) was Nana on the dancefloor once DFC invited everyone to join Mr & Mrs Heath after the first dance (she’s in her 90’s and dancing to rap music).

We managed to send this teaser over to the happy couple on their honeymoon so they could enjoy it in the sun, here is their first response…

Hi Roland,
Oh wow! What a fabulous surprise, we absolutely love it thanks so so much!
And thanks once again for everything on the day 🙂
Thank you to Sophie, Luke, all their friends and family for having us and making us feel so welcome on the day, congratulations from Ro & Lisa x

Yorkshire Wedding Barn: Anjulee & Simon

The Yorkshire Wedding Barn was our destination for Anj & Simon’s BIG DAY, a stunning marriage venue situated in the country town of Richmond. We had a very early start to capture all the fun during the Bridal preparations. What an amazing group of Bridesmaids we had to film, singing their hearts out in the kitchen as the Bride was getting ready upstairs with the hair and make-up artists. The Groom was pretty calm in the morning, he was having fun with Smiler (Bestman) and the Ushers whilst Red Floral Architecture and My Something Borrowed gave the ceremony room a rustic transformation. It was great to work alongside Jemima Stubbs Photography who we had such a laugh with during the day and evening, thank you to all the staff at the barn and Ray Wade Catering for taking care of us.

Mr & Mrs Greenbank threw one hell of an amazing day but the icing on the cake (no pun intended) was the evening reception, it started off with a MAD DANCE by the newlyweds and then suddenly out of no where the Punjab Bhangra Crew  jumped on the dance floor and the party went through the roof!
Such a great wedding to film, having a couple who smiled non stop really made our job very easy, these Yorkie’s really made us Lanc’s feel very welcome, congratulations to you both 🙂
