Mr & Mrs Real Cabo: Wedding Videography at Bartle Hall, Lancashire.

Whilst filming the speeches, i briefly looked out of the window and said to myself “is that a    formula  1 car they are unloading”?

I have never seen a bride walk so fast up the aisle with her dad (Happy Days) on her wedding  day! I had a lot of fun working with Alex from Fairfield Photography (we were 2 camera nerds babbling about lenses all day) and as mentioned above, F1 Driver Experience provided a lot  entertainment with their TopGear challenge’s.

Bartle Hall is still one of my favorite venues in the area and was a great setting for Paul &   Vickys big day.

A brilliant day for Mr & Mrs Real Cabo and a pleasure to shoot such a nice wedding 🙂

Emily & Kevin: Wedding Videography at The Gibbon Bridge in Lancashire.

Whilst filming these bridal/groom preparations, I discovered the difference between Venus & Mars,

Venus is full of music, beauty products and lots of champagne, Mars has Stella & Top Gear on Dave…

As you can see in the trailer above, Sam wanted to make sure he shared a bit of the limelight with Mum & Dad 🙂

My favorite moments about Emily & Kevin’s wedding…

Emily making an early appearance in her rollers & dressing gown to practice walking down the aisle with her bridesmaids (which I just have to include in the film)

Sam’s perfectly timed entrance into the ceremony

The Cake (this clip does not do it justice)

The Father of the Bride introducing every table in his speech

It was my first time shooting at Gibbon Bridge, both rooms looked fantastic and the staff were so helpful on the day, I’m back here next year, looking forward to it.

A beautiful Bride, handsome Groom, gorgeous venue, what more could you ask for…a lovely Autumn wedding for everyone involved

Lisa & Nicholas: Wedding videography at The Alma Inn, Lancashire.

There is a much longer story to Lisa & Nicks wedding and I won’t go into great detail about but let’s just say ‘Practice Makes Perfect’

Daisy, who you can see at the end of the trailer, was one of my challenges on the day. During the bridal preparations she was quite shy in front of the camera but by the time we came to the interview section, she was helping me explain to the guests what they had to do and was very willing to perform numerous takes of the clip we used, I will have to upload the other takes at some point (again, practice makes perfect)

I’m getting to know the ‘Barrowford Crew’ quite well now and this is the second time I have filmed Ash as a best man (you can find the first here). The ceremony and reception all took place at The Alma Inn, it was my first time shooting there and I have to say, I liked it alot!

I’m sure that Mr Alderson will not mind me mentioning the tears, but as he said in his speech “there was something in my eye and I definitely was not crying”

An emotional, funny and brilliant wedding is what I witnessed that day and I will finish by stealing 3 words from the Groom…

“We Made It”

P.S, congratulations to Lisa on her new job, i hope this trailer adds to your week 🙂

CLBE 2013: Lancashire Business Event Videography.

I was asked again to cover the Central Lancashire Business Event which is a free networking event hosted by South Ribble, ChorleyPreston Council & Events Northern. This years event took place at Chorley Town Hall and the guest speakers were Ray O’Connor from Reach Further, Andy Chemney from Ignition CBS Ltd and Mike Ode from Potential Unearthed.

As usual, i attend these events hoping to meet new contacts but always find myself too busy (i somehow manage to find time for the buffet though).

It was a great event and well worth checking out for next year if you are looking at business advice or you generally want to network.

You can find the link for last years event here.

Rachel & Andrew: Wedding video at The Tempest Arms, Lancashire.

Yes, Rachel was a little late getting to her wedding but all could be excused when she arrived at All Saints Church, it was almost like stepping back in time i saw her next to the car in her dress.
A wonderful ceremony full of nerves, singing and a nice surprise for one birthday girl 🙂

The reception took place at the Tempest Arms, a great venue and i had a lot of fun shooting there with Karl & Danielle from Image.

As you can see in the trailer, Rachel & Andrew had a few questions for their guests which did result in some very funny and quite different responses.
A really lovely couple, a perfect sunny September wedding, Brill!
